Final 4 Roll Call

I was able to go to all 4 games so far, and off to Indy Sat am. I live in GR, recently retired, and go alone, so fewer complications. In advance got cancelable hotels in the burbs for all 3 cities, so saving a few $ on lodging. Fortunate enough to go 9 home games this year and 4 road games (Mary, Msu, Pur, NW). Went to the regional in 2018 and 2019, this is my first final four. Got lucky for a ticket for Saturday’s game from a friend. Grew up listening to our games on the radio.
1988 UM graduate, have had football season tickets since 1984 freshman year - have missed 5 home games the last 42 years. One other stat: I have been to every UM-osu football game since 1976….so this year will be my 50th consecutive game. Go Blue, Mike

Shocked that Dylan needs to be told the spots. I would assume as a nearly two decades-ish sports writer, Indy would be his favorite city of all time.

I will be there no matter what!

I know the Slippery Noodle, St. Elmo’s and some breakfast downtown that I don’t remember the name of. Always looking for new spots, especially when all the main spots will be filled with a million people!

I’ll be there! Although more for work so less downtime for me

Anyone with kid friendly Indy recommendations? Thinking we’ll save the Fan Fest thing for Sunday, hoping it will be less busy than Saturday.

The children’s museum in Indy is world famous and has an amazing outdoor sports experience if they are into that kind of thing and weather cooperates.

Hope you all show up! Obviously there are Michigan fans all over and particularly in Illinois, but looks like an Illini takeover based on secondary sales:

That leaves 39 percent thats unaccounted for and IL fans will not be heavy among those. Michigan by 1000 :raising_hands:

My parents took me to Indy in 1991, but I’m afraid I will miss this one. All best to the lucky ones this time around!

To get back to me for a second, yes, that was the scene of an unspeakable crime against ethical hoops, but I choose to remember it this way …

Planning to go Monday if they win. Hoping UConn wins for lower ticket prices.

I don’t have any family members who care about Michigan basketball, but I will still be going and dragging the wife along with me.

Will be there with a group of college buddies! I couldn’t make the 12/13 FF, as a college kid. Vowed I’d never miss another one! Gonna be 2/2 on the self promise.

It’s not our fault that Illinois grads have no employment opportunities outside of the state. (Kidding, of course – UIUC is a great school).

That said, I suspect this isn’t the slam dunk they may think that it is, because Michigan is well-represented in Chicago.

I haven’t bought a game ticket yet, but the prices are starting to drop. By tomorrow morning I’ll only need a third mortgage to get a ticket, but thankfully not a fourth. I’m flying into Cincinnati and driving up because airfare into Indy was double.

I’ll be driving up with a buddy (who is a UK fan but just wants to enjoy BBall). I have tickets for Monday too and hope to be fortunate enough to use them.
