Does Michigan need more playmaking guards on the 2019-20 roster?

Glad we agree.

Maybe so, I don’t really remember that specifically. Fact is he had 25 total assists last year and a 6% AST rate. I think expecting him to be a guy that creates his own shot and sets others up is too lofty a goal for someone who has not done either to this point.

@kturnup

6% assist rate? Might wanna check your math on that one.

Enlighten me. Was referring to Livers, not Brooks

Yeah that stat stood out to me from Dylan’s article

It read you were talking about Brooks. Looking back I see it could Haven Brennan about either one.

I looked up his numbers from March. Was 10/24 overall, 4/11 3fg, and had 4 assists. 3 assists were against Iowa in the B1G tourney game.

That was Brooks. Looks like you may have been talking about Livers.

@umhoops

LA’s post that kturn replied to was about Brooks (first paragraph) AND Livers (second paragraph) which is why there was confusion about who he was referring to in his reply.

Agreed, hopefully it occurs.

Yeah, I didn’t mean to suggest he was someone who would do things off the dribble (aside from maybe creating open 10-12 footers for himself), I just meant he had some nice passes in the half court sets last year where he found open guys, usually cutters.
