This is sort of obviously a personality conflict. But again, same owners that canned Dave Joerger for no apparent reason.

I donāt get the complaint being down 10 with 4 minutes left. Probably not winning that game but I still have Ja in there. Maybe its the 1st of 3 in 4 im I might rest him but that seems odd.

Jaās availability is constantly in question, and the team has routinely been basically as successful without him as with him. Their bellwether at this stage is pretty obviously JJJ, not Ja
This team had the 2nd seed in the west before Jackson was hurt, is currently 1.5 games from third, has won 60% of their games (55% in Jenkinsā tenure including last years tank job), is 4th in net rating. They get massive contributions from:
Desmond Bane (30th pick)
Jaylen Wells (39th pick)
Santi Aldama (30th pick)
Scottie Pippen Jr. (undrafted)
Vince Williams (undrafted)
GG Jackson (undrafted)
So the player development is TOP tier
He better be a horrrrible guy (maybe he is) because if they canned him because of the gun wielding star who rarely plays this is a joke

To your point, the Dillon Brooks Episode is much more telling as an insight into how their front office makes decisions. They impulsively decided they were just done with him instead of strategically moving on from him to maximize a return you might get for a guy you managed to make seem valuable.
(And to be fair IS VALUABLE DESPITE BEING OBNOXIOUS because heās huge for the Rockets)

yeah just meant that they clearly tanked his perceived value by playing up that they were just straight up dumping him. like, a lot of the commentary was āwow can you believe the Rockets think Brooks is worth $20Mā.
If you managed your feelings on the matter, you probably get something better than Josh Christopher in your sign and trade. Or you deal him at the deadline bc you have already decided he doesnāt fit well with your team concept. Or whatever.

Iām kind of surprised that Pippen never did that, especially the year MJ was playing AA baseball.
EDIT: I just looked at his Game Logs from '93-'94 and he only had two that season.

Still canāt make sense of why they fired Jenkins or Jaeger. That sorta reactionary decision making suggests to me itās not like the got rid of Jenkins because Iisalo was demonstrating his badassness

Yeah, so, I totally buy that they just want this guy to be the HC because heās obviously pretty smart and brought a pretty strong idea to the league, and the FO kind of forced him on Jenkins

Yeah you really need to understand what the stat is for. DARKO specifically is not telling you what they did, itās entirely predictive and the whole point of an MVP award is to care about what they did this season.
Itās akin to KP rank vs WAB. You want the NBA player statistical equivalent of WAB. BBREFās VORP, for instance.
