I wonder what 2nd round did they give up for him. Not that it matters but we’ll see the final details of the trade from either Shams or Omari.
Idk that it’s even so much that Sasser isn’t ready as much as it is that he’s really not a PG
Yeah, I’m glad the Pistons added another ball handler. With Ivey out, they didnt really have many ball handlers in the rotation outside of Cade
The Bucks are desperate huh
So basically the Pistons added Schroder and Waters plus a second for nothing. Not bad Schroder should help.
I think it was 2 seconds net.
Looks like Lindy Waters played for Mike Boynton at OSU.
One of the seconds went out with KJ and Richardson to get Schroder, so the net is 1 second to Detroit.
They got two in the KJ Martin trade and one in the Lindy Waters trade. Then gave up one to get Shroeder.
I missed the second tweet from Omari saying they also got a 2nd in that deal. Nice.
Yeah, they didn’t lose anything of value and gained a secondary ball handler. Since they’re intending to keep Waters on the roster, who are they cutting to make room for Waters?
Probably Wendell Moore. I do like Waters as a flyer. Can shoot off movement and can fill in for Beasley or Hardaway if they take a game off.
So the Bulls didn’t do any business other than the Lavine trade that the Kings and Spurs basically did for them? And now they’re not tanking.
I [boutrosspeak]ing hate the Reinsdorfs so [boutrosspeak] much
This makes it sound worse:
The Bulls are half doing rebuild and half doing trying to contend for the playoff. Just pick one (the right move is to rebuild).
They do not have a single player on the roster who, to a rational person, would profile any higher than “third best player on a good team” (that’s Coby White).
There is not 1 other player on this team that is of the caliber of a clear cut starter.
They also have 1 center (who is a bad backup) (lol I forgot they didn’t trade Vuc)
How are they “making a playoff run”??!?!?!?!
This was a legitimately TERRIBLE team getting carried by Zach Lavine’s 64% true shooting (58% career average) and Vuc’s 64% true shooting (52% career average)… Vuc already turned into a pumpkin 3 weeks ago
Welcome to every Bulls season since 2015
if someone types “3 Alphas” in this thread, they’re getting blocked forever.
They’re not half doing anything. It’s just them constantly taking the path of least resistance. AK had an initial conception for the team and that’s the last time he felt the need to do any work whatsoever.
The Bulls like the Sox have 0 staff and 0 process and the result is the total inability to do anything as well as their fellow teams. The NBA has a cap and tanking is an appropriate strategy and the play in is a thing and they’re in the East and development isn’t a thing in the same velomaxxxx sense so they can be the worst organization in the NBA and not overtly appear to be utterly incompetent.
MLB doesn’t hide their 1984 family business nonsense so they’ve been mercilessly destroyed even while spending $$ on payroll.
Even so, Bulls-Cubs fans do not appreciate the true root of the problem the way Bulls-Sox fans do.
At least the Pistons finally hit the reset button, but they chose the wrong GM to do so. So far, so good for Langdon
