Detroit Pistons & NBA Talk

Showdown with the “Michael Jordan merchant franchise” tonight.

Tek is off to a bad start as a shooter, but I expect his shooting to progress from low 30s to the high 30s. His past stats indicates that he’s in a slump.

Ausar may be better, but Holland has at least been a pretty good defender this year - Harris is the only perimeter-ish player grading out better. Both Ivey and Cade seemed to improve from “really bad” to “mediocre”.

The biggest factor YoY is that they’re allowing 55% shooting at the rim, which is first by a mile, and the league average is like 62%. Is that sustainable? Probably not to that degree?

Beef has been surprisingly pretty good in rim protection. I do wish JB would let him shoot and do more 5 out offense. Duren is still below average as a rim protector so I would expect it trend towards closer to league average.

How’re you guys letting Vuc do this to you

Vuc has been doing this to everybody! He’s the next Brook Lopez*!

*do not question how exactly I mean this. perhaps he just found out he’s a twin.

I may get made fun of for this but I love these pistons uniforms tonight

Can’t watch bc I refuse to pull out the antenna but the pics of the unis seem, I dk, fine enough? Kernel of a good idea but not all the way there

Bulls are 20-39 from 3. Lavine has hit some ridiculous ones. Vuc’s have been wide open.

I guess it is the 2nd night of a back to back, traveling from D.C. but it’s still disappointing.

I don’t know if the Embiid and George duo will ever take off.

Sounds like Ausar might be able to play tonight. He already has been recalled from the Cruise.

You are absolutely right. they are dumb. last year’s city version was better.

Proposal: cut ticket prices by five bucks each, stop overpaying uniform designers.

how much of nba/pistons revenue do you think is going to uniform designers  i think probably more than that is spent on the owner’s [REDACTED]

“Too much” is your evergreen answer

NBA intentionally destroying the brand identites of its teams is just a baffling marketing practice.
