Better than last year, FWIW.
Is that fontecchio on the left wing? Wow, his man was 0 help, my 8th grade basketball coach would be livid with how his defender played that. (NBA is a different beast).
I don’t think think that was Fontecchio’s defenders fault. The Pistons kept that corner empty so it’s hard to help from that far up. Some bball person on Bluesky said that the guy guarding the screener needed to bump Duran to hold him up a bit.
Pop suffered a mild stroke that’s why he hasn’t been on the bench.
I’m glad he’s expected to make a full recovery. My unofficial brother (friends since before we were 2 years old) suffered a minor stroke back in June and had to have open heart surgery over the summer. He’s doing pretty well but it’s scary stuff.
