They moved the ball well last night
The starters looked amazing on offense against a really good defensive team. Every shot was either open or a dunk. Was surprised the 3rd team went toe-to-toe with the Cavs starters in the 3rd period.
Yeah- that first 8 minutes was some of the best Pistons basketball I’ve seen in a while. Granted, it was a preseason game but they had great offensive flow, with everyone scoring, and only 2 turnovers, and the defense was solid.
I don’t follow the team as closely as I used to…is that something you’re projecting from reading the preseason tea leaves or has that been reported as their planned starting five?
Personally I’d prefer to see Fontecchio in THJ’s spot.
That was the starting lineup last night against the Cavs. They played 7:46 minutes together and sat for the rest of the game. This is a pretty strong indication of the starting lineup when they open the season against the Pacers.
Given that Hardaway played with the starters in every game he was healthy, I’d expect that to be the starting lineup at the start of the year
There are legions of catch and shooters who were effective with Luka that struggled comparatively afterwards. Timmy certainly saw his shoot jump when he went to Dallas.
Hardaway’s been a league average 3 point shooter in terms of volume and and accuracy in his non-Dallas tenure. Cade is good (not Luka) - will be interesting to see how Tim fairs.
Kawhi’s down again:

he’s going to be a bored man
Turns out the Spurs were right about his degenerative knee condition and wanted to load manage him. Uncle Dennis and Kwahi forced their way out of SA lol
Seems like the bigger issue was leaving Toronto
Dalton Knecht is making a run at preseason MVP!
They’re still winning less than 50 games

Time for the Pistons to rehabilitate Hayes and start his redemption tour.
I love how the ball won’t touch his right hand even in a press photo
Pistons picked up Cole Swider and Alondes Williams on two-ways.
