Detroit Pistons & NBA Talk

I was certainly happy to see more Ivey, but both he and Sasser fouled out trying to cover Trae Young. Ivey had a decent scoring game.

After an awful October, Killian has actually been decent. Almost like a real NBA player.

Three starters and their 6th man from a bad team…

Hope springs eternal! It sounds like we’ll have Isaiah Stewart back and maybe Killian.

Little good, little bad

Pistons are loaded for tonight. Pistons win by double digits.

I hope you’re right!

Earth to Monty. Hello? You’re on a 24 game losing streak and you still haven’t figured out this whole thing that what lineup plays on the floor together matters. You don’t have many good players. You can’t afford to sit them at the same time.

Luv 2 turn da ball over

Pistons are a turnover machine. And that’s not on the coach.

well, it kind of is

Not gonna happen…pathetic.

Good news for Pistons/Michigan fans. This won’t be considered a close loss so Monty’s job security should be just fine!

Here’s a question for the faithful

Is Kelly Olynyk the best Piston of the post Griffin era

Yes this is influence by the 27 (!) points he just hung on them

Here is one thing

I think it’s the first time in 17 games they haven’t allowed a 30 point scorer

Olynyk was bad during his Pistons tenure. Had an injury, then a bad case of Covid and was never the same.

Olynyk revenge game tonight

He actually was good, look at his numbers

Didn’t play much, though

The Olynyk at center lineups may have been the only lineup they’ve had in the Weaver era that was positive in +/- in over 200 minutes

one thing i think is great as a detroit sports fan is that all three of the pro sports teams i’ve followed in my life are at exactly the same point: five-plus years into a full-tank rebuild and realizing it actually may not have worked, with no obvious path to actually working.

never watched the lions, so of course they’re actually doing okay, though on balance i’m still pretty okay with that decision
