Altho the offense is finally running what I’d imagine AK envisioned when he first built this team just bc Lavine isn’t gonna play a game for the Bulls again. Not sure that’s a huge endorsement of Donovan.

The only problem I have with that video, even though I love the passion, is that he spends the whole time ripping Monty Williams but most of his complaints aredirectly related to Wiseman. It’s possible that James Wiseman is a bigger problem than the coach trying to get something out of it. Not that I’m exonerating Monty but I don’t think all of wiseman’s problems are the coaches fault.

Weaver initially went after Monty and Monty turned them down. Weaver went after Ollie but Gore overruled him in favor of Monty. I think Gores-Weaver-Tellum faction not in the agreement was well known or at least worst kept secret.

James Wiseman stinks out loud. Zero instincts. The idea of Wiseman is far greater than his play on the floor.
The reporting was that Weaver’s pick was Ollie, Tellem’s pick was Jaron Collins, and they compromised on Charles Lee

Ownership matters. The Pistons haven’t been the same since Davidson passed. Even the Lakers looked like they might fall apart after Buss died.

Just so grim. I guess the Bulls turnaround—as much as I’m confident it’s basically fool’s gold—does show that mean regression plus some slightly better vibes can come out of nowhere.
Cade had a really good game. The team had a decent game. Again, they had a few chances when they were down 6 with a few minutes to go that they couldn’t get over the hump.
Piston’s lost to the Hawks in the first quarter. Could never quite make up that difference. They really won the second half. The Piston’s make the most dumb passes I have ever seen and that includes everybody. I see Killian Hayes and Isaiah Steward did no play yesterday.

Killian was sick, and Stewart his missed the last couple of games with a shoulder injury.
Killian being sick meant they had to play more Ivey, so probably net positive.
Stewart missing makes them pretty thin upfront
