Kevin Knox only took 1 more shot from that point
Duren is really impressive.

Duren is really impressive.
Current lineup is a disaster offensively.
However, no Bagley, Burks or Livers limits what the bench can do.
yeah aside from Duren getting some slop, the bench is really fraught.
Gotta like how both rookies look so far.
Beeeeeef Steeeeew baby
Need Livers back healthy. The Stones is in badly need help of wing players in 3 and D. A Keegan Murray type would be ideal since they have Cade and Jaden.
not the topic of the thread, but Banchero pretty tasty in his debut.
Killian Hayes an 11.1% shooting night away from a good game.
Hayes is a good defender but he needs to improve his shooting. I did like his aggressiveness which was missing in his first two seasons. Iāve been saying heās more of a backup G as a Rubio type which isnāt a bad thing.
Rubio dribbles with both hands
Yep. Duren was productive but Noel should help. Burks will help. I want Livers to do well but concerned about if he can stsy healthy. Hayes couldnt shoot tonight but had 5 assists.
Big shot.
How did he look? His help d looked scrappy in highlights. Doing a good job of altering looks but not fouling from what I saw.
How bad must Billy Boeheimās defense be to DNP-CD behind KKII?
Ivey is going to be a star. NBA is made for him because of wide open spacing and he can get to the hoops with ease. Perfect pairing with Cade. The scary thing is Iveyās stats couldāve been better but itāll come with experience.
I thought Cade played an okay game yet still got 18-10. If thatās his average game, Iāll take it every time.
Duren is physically ready for NBA and played well. His role is limited as a rebounder, lob threat and shot blocker but thatās okay. He has the potential to expand his offensive game with experience and heās still incredibly young.
That was a very entertaining game!
I didnāt watch but Ivey being 1/1 from the line is an area I can see him improving as he grows (just getting more FTA) very encouraging.
Ivey was drawing a lot of contact and just not getting any foul calls.
Jalen Duren is the real deal. What is he, the youngest player in the league? Day by day, I grow more excited about his potential. He held up Memphis almost single handedly as a freshman, they would have beat Gonzaga if he hadnāt fouled out after looking incredible against Chet.
FTA is the least of my concerns. He drew a lot of contact but not getting the calls which I assumed is a rookie treatment. FTA rate is high in preseason (and at Purdue) so Iām not all that concerned about it with Ivey.
I canāt believe Charlotte had a big need at C and just gave Duren away for $9 mil of cap space.
The Charlotte implosion has been quite a spectacle. The only thing saving this franchise is Wemby
Yeah Duren being so undervalued in the draft is crazy. Was insanely young playing for a dude who canāt coach in college and still put up a pretty damn good season. Idk how people forgot he was the best recruit in his class for a reason
