Not a chance that Hali is better than Cade this year. Not even close. I’m putting Cade over Garland and there’s at least an argument with Dame, Ja and Steph this year too. All-NBA isn’t who is a better player or who has the better career. It’s who had the best season. Julius Randle has two all-NBA selections and he has never been a top 15 player in the NBA.

Cade is basically averaging 24, 10 and 7 while propelling last season’s worst team in the NBA to a record over .500 and in the playoff mix.

Hali is better in every measure

Garland is the best offensive player on the best offensive team in the NBA, that one isn’t even vaguely close

Strongly disagree. Hali has been a lot worse this year than he was the past two seasons. You put Hali on this Pistons team and they would have a worse record. Heck, Pacers are only a half game up on the Pistons right now despite having a much better roster. Would anyone on the Pistons even start for the Pacers besides Cade? You’re just a Cade hater.

I’ll give you Garland because the Cavs deserve to have someone on the All-NBA team with the season they are having.

Mentioning Herro but not Trae Young is just genuinely laughable

I see someone made the mistake of disrespecting the Atlanta Hawks :triumph:

I do think Trae is the n the Cade/Fox/Herro group!

This is one of his poorer years. And Herro has been good?

thank you!

I think Cades 25 ppg are blinding lots of people

He’s an all-star. He is not one of the six best guards.

He has six triple doubles. Top 15 in scoring. 3rd in assists. And it can’t be restated enough. The worst team in the NBA is in the playoff hunt despite still having a really uncompetitive roster compared to playoff teams.

All NBA is positionless now right?

Is it?

Ok I definitely don’t think he’s top 15

Six triple doubles is something I literally do not care about or would consider for a millisecond

He’s a good player. His scoring efficiency is still far below his peers and his turnovers are still well higher. He’s fine defensively

In my opinion Id rather reward the guy elevating/running the best offense in basketball than the guy dragging what would be a horrible offense to ā€œsomewhat badā€

It’s the type of thing that voters care about though.

Positionless plus 65 games played

I’m not saying he’s for sure All-NBA. Just saying it is not outlandish for him to at least be in the discussion

lol DARKO has Cade 91st best in the NBA

BPM says 34th if I counted right.

haven’t watched Cade play a single game this year, I have little opinion other than what I hear about him. consensus seems to be ā€œglad he’s gotten better, probably never going to be the best player on a conference finalistā€ ?

Pistons had Darko as the second best player in the 2003 NBA draft.

If it’s raw top 15 I think it’s pretty outlandish tbh

There are 5 guys in the OKC/Cleveland game that just happened I’d have higher
