Things got a bit spicy there. Juwan Howard got tossed, Maryland cut the lead to 5 and then Michigan answered with an 8-0 run.

My guess on the Juwan thing:

  • Juwan upset about something small a Maryland coach did (who knows who or what it was). Yells at Turgeon about it.
  • Turgeon tells him to “f**k off”

sorry I know I am not exactly objective but I don’t see how you watch Turgeon march at Juwan screaming and let him stay in the game. If Juwan is out Turgeon should be out

1st Half - brings in BJJ for some crucial minutes despite the message board immediately losing it’s collective mind
2nd Half - Plays a zone that gives up wide open 3s because he knows Maryland sucks at shooting despite the message board losing it’s mind
2nd Half- Gets ejected just to fire up the team so they didn’t get complacent up 10

I literally don’t know if the refs could have gotten this game any more wrong. Big Ten refereeing has been astonishing for as long as I can remember, but this is a new low. Blow basic call after basic call and then put that whole thing on Juwan and Michigan.
