I would have never guessed it was that high last night. Especially late in the game the doubles felt like they were effective at times.
And whatâs crazy is that I feel like heâs not playing as well as he can this year. His 3-point shot can at least be 35% instead of 31%.

Taking Killian over Haliburton is the major stain on his resume. Saddiq Bey was an okay pick and looked like a good one for his first two years. Trading a future 1st round pick that turned out to be Joan Beringer (taken by the T-Wolves) and drafting Stew was a win. And there were moments where it looked like he got a steal in taking Livers in the 2nd round.
The Ivey pick was fine but there are several other SGâs or combo players taken after him that have turned out to be comparable or ahead of his progress right now, especially Jaylen Williams. But Mathurin, Shaedon Sharpe and Dyson Daniels are there too. After a rough year with Monty Williams possibly stunting his growth, Ivey did look like he was leveling up last year under JB before his broken leg. Anyway, still a solid pick at #5.
Regarding Cade, there has been talk that Troy wanted Mobley over Cade and got overruled. And also that the Pistons turned down SGA and the #6 pick for the #1 (Cade).
Aside from Killian, Troyâs biggest errors didnât come on draft night. I think itâs easy to say that he had more draft success than SVG.
No Ausar,Caris,Stew,Tobias and of course Ivey and Sasser tonight. Also 3rd game in 4 nights. Going to be tough even though itâs Washington

My only regret is not fading the Mavs like I wanted to and then fading the Rockets over under may have been too bold
Suns have been solid and Jalen isnât playing. I think the Green trade will age well and was a decent Hail Mary.
Dusty May and at least two of his assistants are sitting on the baseline by the Pistons bench. If it was Izzo, you know Blaha & Kelser wouldâve already given 2-3 shout-outs.

Cade just got hammered by Whitmore going up for a dunk and JB got tâed up. Cade needed help off the court.
Cade went to the locker room and has returned. He landed on his tailbone pretty hard.
Then Washington challenged the foul call!

Assuming Washington holds on not a great loss. Had chances to make it all the way back then fouled on a 3, allowed offensive rebound off a missed FT, then fouled again
Itâs pretty wild how much of other teams may and his staff watch during the season

On top of injuries this was also a scheduling loss. Not great to lose to Washington but understandable considering the circumstances
