2025-26 NBA Discussion

24-year-old Steve screamed at the TV a lot during the last four games of that series.

Boobie Gibson’s one moment in the sun. :sad_but_relieved_face:

Been messing around with the NBA trade machine a bit. Any way NOLA would accept Trey Murphy for Ron Holland, Caris (expiring) and 3 FRPs?

Oof. I pretty much checked out as a fan after they traded Billups away.

I do remember that 2007 series. That was painful.

Pistons had 31 points off 20 turnovers last night. If they keep doing that the Cavs are done

Is that bad.

It’s 17.6 turnovers a game so yeah, not that good

Lol, I just corrected you on the dumb ppl that you were supposedly talking about. Sorry if you thought that was you.

If OG is hurt, the Knicks are done.

30 foot 3, blocks a shot at the other end. Inhuman.

I heard a podcaster say yesterday that ā€œthe Celtics hoop like rats with calculatorsā€ and I don’t think it’s ever going to leave me.

Pretty much the one thing you can’t do vs Detroit. We need turnovers to score

absolutely delicious. there’s no way I should be enjoying this as much as I am

Maybe a slight door-opener for the 76ers:

New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby has been diagnosed with right hamstring strain and will be day to day, sources tell ESPN. Anunoby is the Knicks second-leading scorer this postseason at 21.4 points per game. He is listed questionable for Game 3 on Friday against Philadelphia. If I’m the Knicks, OG sits G3 and only plays G4 if the Sixers take G3. OG is going to be pivotal in their next series and they’re in the driver’s seat against Philly. Don’t see a need to play him tomorrow, buy him a couple extra days.

Towns is a good defender in some matchups (like, I actually think he’s not bad on Embiid, like him less against a leaper like Duren) but OG is basically the only consistent two way player they have, and is a get of jail free card defensively at any position.

OG is our most complete player, hands down.

Him being day to day is a huge win for the Knicks. Most of us thought it would be much worse.

With his injury history, though, any hamstring issue makes things scary going forward.

Really like the off ball screening for Cade with Duncan. It’s generating basket cuts and if not then Cade gets freed up to get a hand off w Duren.

Have seen teams really struggle to get into their hand off stuff bc defenses can put two hands on off ball players but the split cut stuff w a shooter is making it a lot harder so far.
