“Jimmy has always been correct” is my interpretive rubric for the NBA.
I also just think it’s cool that this team has like 2 guys who was a top 100 HS recruit, 2 guys who was a lottery pick (those are the same guys - Bam, and Kevin Love’s shadow). The rest are nobodies who built themselves into late firsts (Butler, Lowry), or nobodies who just appeared in the NBA (Vincent, Martin, Strus, Duncan)

The amount of undrafted players the zombie Heat regularly play is staggering. Heat culture is a meme but it is very real. Juwan was taught by the absolute best.

So you’re saying that’s why he’s now recruiting guys in the 100+ range like Tschetter, Barnes, Anderson, GW, and Phat Phat? He’s following the Heat playbook to avoid over-paying for superstars or high draft picks?

I mean, Max Strus, Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent are succeeding at a level of play that most first rounders melt in (see our own Jordan Poole)
