JP getting shown up by Reaves for no reason other than mindset. Bummer.
Klay and JP in their current forms is just really really hard to overcome
Yeah Poole is just… downright terrible. Like it’s nuts. His extension hasn’t even kicked in yet!
Klay can get hot occasionally but he can’t do anything else.
Wiggins just not the same this year.
Poole just seems broken it’s a bummer
I missed that Booker signed an extension. That helps his value.
Moody needs to get a lot of run next year
Kobe was the Lakers best player for 2 of his rings. D-Wade was the best player, at least in the playoffs, for Miami’s first title.
Chauncey was Finals MVP. I mean, you can argue that Ben Wallace was just as important for the whole run, but you can also argue for Mr. Big Shot.
And LeBron still plays PG a fair bit.
I would also say that the rule adjustments in today’s NBA favors guards more than ever.
Jordan Poole does know what to do at the buzzer.
Poole redemption arc
It feels like the Lakers should be up a lot more.
And that tech on Schroeder was weak.
Warriors are cooked
At least Poole hit a few shots while he was in.
Maybe the least fun game I’ve seen in the playoffs this year
Klay is 3 for 19. Yikes.
Hard to remember how he started the series. The past 4 games he has been so so bad
30% is really good compared to 1/19 to end your season.
Draymond a huge embrace and smile for LeBron in the end.
Who did that?
A colony of NITs
I don’t know what course the Warriors chart from here. With Steph at his level, even at his age, you still have a shot but almost everything else aside from maybe Draymond needs to change (I think Draymond’s on court product for his role is still title worthy, I’m not sure if all his BS is).
Klay is a bench guy on a top notch team at this point, and I don’t know if he has the mindset to play that way. The rest of this team needs a pretty significant change around Curry though.
Wiggins had a great few weeks last year, and I don’t know if his level of play this year was a product of missing the last 9 weeks of the regular season, or just him returning to his established career norm prior to last year. I will note that the fact last year was a contract year for him and the narrative on him so bad that he was in line to make nowhere near what he is without a big bump makes me skeptical.
Poole has shown he’s not a high level winning player without radical improvement. The rest of these dudes are just blanks.
