If winston and langford end up at msu, man is that going to hurt. Rumors after Battle committed were that Langford was disappointed because he was planning to commit to UM soon. I sill think it is a mistake waiting on winston rather than taking who commits first between langford and winston.
I can see where all the hype came from then. On another note, to add to the Langford discussion, I really dont think that the staff would not take a commitment from Langford just because they want a PG. I can see how Langford would be surprised by the Battle commitment, but i don’t think he was ready to commit and the staff told him no.
Battle is on a Syracuse visit? Don't think there is a chance of a flip do we?
If he visits, i bet beilein drops him
Beilein would drop his most highly touted recruit?
Beilein had no issue dropping Bluiett for canceling a visit. Beilein has not put up with flaky recruits during his tenure. He simply moves on.
You don’t think there’s a difference between a guy making a verbal commitment vs Bluiett who never made any commitment?
I do think there is a difference. I think committing then visiting another school is worse than what bluiett did. I am pretty sure beilein and most college bball coaches would agree.

Beilein dropped Blueitt for scheduling a visit, having Michigan move everything around so he could be the only recruit there that weekend, and then telling Michigan that he was going to UCLA instead and he’d visit on ND weekend when we already had Chatman and Grantham scheduled. I have no idea what Beilein will do, but the situations are not even remotely similar.

Bluiett did something that put UM in a bad situation and Battle is doing the same by visiting Syracuse. Would be shocked if Beilein put up with this based on his recruiting history.
