I think you’re spot on. Plus, keeping Donnal next year means there’s one less spot for a 17 recruit. And we look decent for several solid-to-good recruits. So Donnal is really going to have to step up his game this year to justify keeping him. I don’t think he starts over Wagner, so it’s an uphill battle for him. Gotta imagine one of Teske/Davis is ready to be the backup for the 2017-18 season.
I felt like we all saw that coming. Hopefully they catch on and adjust pretty quickly. That first year can fly by and before you know it, we could be looking for new centers quickly. I’ve got some hope they can do it.
We have the luxury of not needing either guy to play significant minutes this year and maybe not even next year. They will have time to develope.
