To make a run in the post-season all teams need someone off the bench to make a surprising contribution.

For example, if Michigan were to make an Elite 8 run, odds are good Wagner or Wilson will have foul trouble in at least 1 of those 4 NCAA Tournament games. Success would depend on Donnal (or Teske) giving UM a solid 7-8 minute shift.

And I agree the defensive end is much more the question than the offensive end.

I think if UM gets a tournament boost from someone not playing at a ligh level already, it would probably come from Wilson.
